Erika Bocklund, PharmD
Dr. Erika Bocklund is originally from Minneapolis, MN and received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Minnesota in 2012. Erika completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL in 2017. Her areas of interest include infectious diseases and critical care. Erika is excited for precepting opportunities throughout the PGY-1 year along with expanding her clinical knowledge in the various settings offered at St. Elizabeth Hospital. At this time, Erika plans to pursue a PGY-2 specializing in infectious diseases.
In her spare time, Erika likes to enjoy the outdoors in various activities including hiking, biking, running, and skiing. She loves to spend time with her dog, Luna, and visiting with family and friends. Erika is also fond of cooking/baking, watching movies, and traveling.
Katie Cholewa, PharmD
Dr. Katie Cholewa is from Gurnee, Illinois and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2013, and afterward her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2017. Her current practice interests include cardiology and psych, and hopes to further expand upon these during her PGY-1 residency. She also enjoys teaching and is looking forward to spending time working closely with pharmacy students and providing education to patients. Katie hopes to use the experience and knowledge she gains during this year to provide more comprehensive care to patients in a clinical setting.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors (hiking, biking, and skiing), spending quality time with her family and friends, and watching/attending Wisconsin Badger football and basketball games.
