What is arthroscopic surgery?

It’s a less invasive surgical procedure.

We know you want to return to your normal activities as quickly as possible. Minimally-invasive arthroscopic surgery can help you do that.

During an arthroscopic procedure, your surgeon is able to diagnose and treat your condition. After making a few small incisions, the surgeon inserts the arthroscope. With a small camera attached to the tip of scope, your surgeon is able to see the condition of your joint, muscle and connective tissues.

Your surgeon can use arthroscopy to treat rotator cuff injuries, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, fractures and more. Because arthroscopy is minimally invasive, there are no large incisions. This often means you recover faster and experience less pain and bleeding.
