Helen McGrath Memorial Fund
Miss McGrath’s estate is one of the largest the foundation has received. No preference was made for how the bequest should be directed. The foundation board initially designated a portion of Miss McGrath’s total estate gift to the area of greatest need. That designation was changed in 2007 to directing the annual distribution to helping underwrite the cost of the foundation’s annual operating expenses.
