Doug Shew
Vice President, Information Systems
Doug Shew was named vice president of information systems in 2006. He joined Affinity Health System in 1997 as WAN/LAN project leader and was promoted to director of information systems before transitioning to his current position.
Prior to joining Affinity, Shew was a network administrator at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, part of the Ministry Health Care system.
With 20 years of experience in health care information systems, Shew career has spanned the field of information technology. His work has taken him from programming projects, network administration, system administration, application support and mid-level management to the current role of executive leadership. Doug has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
