Calumet Medical Center announces annual blood drive

Chilton, Wis.— Calumet Medical Center will host the Healing through the Heart Memorial Blood Drive in partnership with Wieting Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, from 6 - 10 a.m.
 
Donors will be given a ribbon in honor of a loved one as Calumet Medical Center and Wieting Family Funeral Home dedicate this blood drive in memory of them.
 
“Year after year, we hold this annual blood drive as a convenient way for people of our community to help save lives,” said Timothy Richman, president and CEO of Calumet Medical Center. “Through this safe and simple process, you can honor a loved one who has passed away while helping those in need live on.”
 
The bloodmobile will be located on the Calumet Medical Center campus located at 614 Memorial Drive in Chilton.
 
Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health, and bring a photo ID. Donors are encouraged to eat a regular meal and drink plenty of fluids prior to donating.
