OSHKOSH, Wis. – The city of Oshkosh is now available in a board game.

Oshkosh is Game, the City of Oshkosh Property Trading Game, lets players buy and sell the deeds to popular Oshkosh businesses. The game also features Oshkosh landmarks and organizations.

KATY Consultants, Inc., Manitowoc, and Mercy Health Foundation teamed up to create this colorful board game. Janet Pavelack, annual giving coordinator for the Mercy Health Foundation, states, “We thought that the game would be an opportunity to reach out to business community members that we might not otherwise reach.”

All proceeds raised from game sales will go to the expansion of the Michael D. Wachtel Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center. The foundation would like to raise $300,000 for the cancer center expansion. Proceeds from the game sale play an important role in fundraising efforts, Pavelack says.

Oshkosh is Game is a full Wisconsin production. Castle-Pierce Printers, Oshkosh, and FRV Group, Neenah, printed the games. Oshkosh is Game is available for $29.95 and can be purchased from the Oshkosh area Festival Foods, Morton Pharmacy, EAA and the gift shop at Mercy Medical Center.
