MENASHA, Wis.- Affinity Health System names Iqbal Mian as sustainability team leader.
As sustainability team leader, Mian will analyze Affinity’s triple bottom line (people, planet and prosperity), measuring impact from both facilities and operations. In addition to being an advocate for sustainability to both Affinity and the community, he will assist in energy reduction goals and benchmarking energy consumption for St. Elizabeth Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, Calumet Medical Center and several clinics. He will support an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 standards.
Mian will support a core value at Affinity of stewardship, which requires sustainable design and finding new ways to protect our environment. He will collaborate with community groups, individuals and agencies to allocate resources appropriately and avoid unnecessary duplication and identify community needs.
Mian received his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in supply chain and operations management from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.
