MENASHA, Wis.Wellness Pathways, Network Health Plan’s small group wellness program, will be expanding eligibility to include groups with up to 100 enrolled employees as of July 1, 2011.

"Offering Wellness Pathways to larger groups is an important step in our quest to get more people engaged in healthy lifestyles," said Sheila Jenkins, president of Network Health Plan.

Wellness Pathways was launched more than a year ago. It is supported by clinically based biometric and positive behavioral data to define measureable benchmarks. Groups with members reaching these easy-to-understand benchmarks will qualify for a wellness reward equal to 10 percent of their premium.

This new approach demonstrates Network Health Plan’s commitment to being part of the solution to curb health care expenses. Network Health Plan is fostering a new covenant among employers, agents, members and the insurer, based on mutual accountability. Wellness Pathways is designed to build long-term relationships based on improving health and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
