Menasha, Wis.- Affinity Health System announces Cheryl Schmidt as the new vice president of quality and risk management.
Schmidt will oversee clinical quality improvements within the hospital and medical group settings, collaborating with Network Health Plan. In addition to overseeing quality improvement services, safety and risk, she will continue to lead the quality council, the patient safety committee, infection control and prevention initiatives, and Joint Commission preparedness efforts.
Schmidt joined Affinity in September 2001, as the director of quality. She will continue her participation in key system, medical staff and medical group initiatives.
