MENASHA, Wis. – Affinity Health System, for the seventh consecutive year, has been named to the Verispan Integrated Health Network 100, an annual assessment of the 100 most highly integrated health care networks in the nation.
Affinity ranks 24th in the 2008 report, a five point increase from its 2007 ranking. Affinity is the only health care network in Northeastern Wisconsin to make the list.
“This honor is a reflection of the consistent quality and level of service that patients receive when they come to an Affinity facility,” said Daniel E. Neufelder, president and chief executive officer of Affinity Health System. “Whether that be at any of the 23 Affinity Medical Group clinics, one of our three hospitals, or through membership with Network Health Plan, Affinity is committed to providing world-class care and service.”
The Integrated Health Network Rating System rates local and regional, non-specialty integrated health care networks on their performance level and degree of integration. The rating system is a means for identifying the Integrated Health Network 100 based on these critical success factors:
- Integrated technology
- Hospital utilization
- Financial stability
- Services and access
- Contractual capabilities
- Outpatient utilization.
“I am extremely proud of Affinity employees for their dedication and desire to provide the best possible service in the communities that we serve,” Neufelder said.
