What is the Complex Lipids Clinic?
Our complex lipids clinic is open to patients who have difficult-to-treat cholesterol (lipid) problems. They may have inherited lipid disorders, severely elevated cholesterol, a very high risk for cardiovascular disease or a personal history of heart or vascular disease, which make it difficult for them to reach their optimal cholesterol numbers. They may also have liver, kidney or muscle problems that limit the types of medications they can use. To be seen by our board-certified lipids specialists, please talk to your primary care provider or cardiologist. They can assist you in getting an appointment.
