Feeding your body the proper nutrients is important to your health, especially when you have an illness.
The Affinity Diabetes, Nutrition and Endocrine Center offers nutrition counseling to people with a wide range of conditions and diseases. If your primary care doctor feels you could benefit from nutrition counseling, he or she can refer you to one of the center’s registered dietitians by calling (920) 727-8030.
We’ll talk with you to learn more about your medical diagnosis and health goals. Then we’ll do a personal needs assessment and give you appropriate nutrition counseling.
Affinity offers nutrition-related classes to the public for a small fee. Anyone is welcome to attend. Classes include Lipids 101, Pre-Diabetes: Too Sweet for Your Own Good, and more. For a complete listing of available class times and dates and to register, call Affinity NurseDirect at 1-800-362-9900 or click here for more information.
