Types of wounds we treat

- Lower Extremity Ulcers
- Surgical Wounds
- Chronic Wounds - wounds that do not show improvement or healing in four weeks.
- Wounds related to circulatory problems
Affinity Wound and Skin Care Clinic offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, a painless procedure that enables patients to breathe 100 percent oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure. The treatment aids the body’s healing process by reducing swelling and increasing the oxygen content in the body’s cells to help damaged tissues heal faster.
Apligraf® is another unique technology available through our Affinity Wound and Skin Care Clinic physicians. Like human skin, Apligraf consists of living skin cells and structural proteins. It is particularly effective in the treatment and healing of certain leg ulcers and diabetic wounds.
