How and When to Schedule a Mammogram
Call (920) 236-1880 in Oshkosh or (920) 831-1200 in Appleton to schedule your mammogram. If you call after business hours, our voice mail service will take your call and we will contact you the next business day. The Breast Center is open Monday through Friday. We offer evening hours for your convenience.
Mammography services are also available at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. Call (920) 849-2386 to schedule an appointment.
Affinity Health System breast cancer care professionals recommend the following guidelines for prevention and detection:
Women age 18 – 39
- Monthly breast self-exam
- Annual clinical breast exam
Women age 40 – 49
- Monthly breast self-exam
- Annual clinical breast exam
- Mammogram at age 40 and again every one to two years
Women age 50 and older
- Monthly breast self-exam
- Annual clinical breast exam
- Annual mammogram
Your physician may recommend a different schedule based on individual health risks and breast pattern.
