The Affinity Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health program provides a safe environment to evaluate and treat adults with mood, anxiety and thought disorders, alcohol and drug addictions, abuse issues and more.

Affinity Health System’s behavioral health experts offer inpatient treatment for:

Team Approach
Affinity’s adult inpatient behavioral team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, alcohol and drug counselors, nurses, occupational therapists, nutritionists, recreation therapists and chaplains in Appleton and Oshkosh. These caregivers work together to evaluate and treat adults with mental health or substance abuse issues. They stay in close communication with one another and seek to understand the whole picture as they assess and treat patients.
Each patient receives a treatment plan based on individual needs. Patients may take part in one or more of the following:
• one-on-one counseling
• group therapy
• assessments and evaluations
• discharge planning
• occupational therapy
