Amputation

Rehabilitation Services plays an integral role in treating amputation patients.

A team of physicians, nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists works with patients who have had an amputation.  A certified prosthetist is also available to assess and manage each patient’s prosthetic needs.  The focus of amputation rehabilitation is on regaining strength and functional independence, learning to care for the residual limb and controlling pain.
