Anodyne Therapy
Light therapy featuring the Anodyne Therapy System
Monochromatic infrared energy therapy (Anodyne or light therapy) is used to increase local circulation and reduce pain in patients with neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease. Anodyne therapy helps restore sensations that alert and protect the body from harm, improves gait and balance, reduces the risk of falling, and helps with healing all types of wounds. An average treatment program involves 12 therapy sessions, which include: Anodyne therapy; stretching, strengthening and balance exercises; and gait training.
