Welcome to Affinity Health System for your student educational experience. We are excited to have you here. May you have a great learning opportunity while you are with Affinity Health System!
We have approximately 1200 students annually that come to Affinity Health System facilities for their student educational opportunities. There are an additional 200 students that participate in the Job Shadow Program.

Patient and Customer Safety is a high priority for Affinity Health System.- Patients, families, customers and staff have a right to know who is working with them. Please wear your school nametags at all times. They must be readable.
- To minimize the risk of a fire there is no smoking allowed within or on the property of Affinity Health System.
- To minimize the risk of interference with patient medical equipment cell phones must be turned off in patient care facilities. There are designated safe areas to use cell phones. Please look for this sign.
- Many of our patients and customers have mobility problems so they need the parking spaces that are close to our buildings. Please park only in Employee Designated parking (see maps for St. Elizabeth Hospital and Mercy Medical Center). For other Affinity facilities please ask where you may park when you come on your first day.
- There are times when students have family emergencies. Please during your first day in the department obtain the department phone number and give it to key people in your life that need to know how to reach you in case of an emergency.
