Volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital
St. Elizabeth Hospital volunteers play an important role in helping St. Elizabeth Hospital to enhance personalized care and customer satisfaction, which aid us in living out our mission, promise and values. The St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteer Services department provides compassionate, competent, and resourceful volunteers to fill many volunteer roles within the hospital. Each year St. Elizabeth Hospital manages approximately 500 volunteers and 60,000 service hours.

Volunteers Funds
The St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteers raise funds through the hospital Gift Shop and other fundraising sales throughout the course of the year. Since the St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteers, formerly named St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary, was organized on July 28, 1958, it has generated financial support to St. Elizabeth Hospital totaling over two million dollars.
Funds raised by the St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteers are annually pledged to the St. Elizabeth Hospital capital budget fund and are used to purchase equipment for the hospital. In addition, funds raised by the Commemorative Giving Fund go towards funding local area student scholarships.
