Translator Services
Language barriers or hearing problems shouldn’t stand in the way of understanding exactly what’s going on with your health care. Affinity Health System wants to make sure we communicate effective and accurately with all patients in Northeast Wisconsin, so we provide interpreter and translator services at no cost to patients who do not speak English or are deaf.
Interpreting and translation services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These services are most often used when something changes in a patient’s care, such as:
- at the time of admission or outpatient appointment
- before and after invasive treatments, tests or surgery
- during any life-threatening care
- at the time of discharge
