Biography

Michael Foley, MD, provides general, thoracic and vascular surgery. Dr. Foley completed his medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, and served his surgical residency at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. As a resident, Dr. Foley served on the trauma committee and was the resident education coordinator at Iowa Methodist. Dr. Foley has a special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Foley is specially trained to perform robotic surgery, a highly advanced, minimally invasive surgical technique.
