Biography

Dr. Al-Bitar is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology and is board-certified in nuclear cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Al-Bitar earned his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in Damascus, Syria, and served as chief medical resident at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Ill.
He served his cardiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he served on the teaching staff for three years before beginning practice at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, Wisc., in 1992.
