Affinity Health System’s Neurosciences department cares for injuries and illness of the brain, spinal cord, nerves and muscles. Examples are stroke, epilepsy, headaches, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia, multiple sclerosis, movement problems and many forms of pain.
Our Neurosciences team includes:
- neurologists - doctors who treat nervous system disorders
- neurological surgeons - doctors who perform surgery on the brain and spine
- physiatrists - doctors who help adults and children recover from nervous system and orthopaedic problems, and chronic pain
The Affinity Neurosciences team, including board-certified doctors, provides high quality neurological care for patients in Northeast Wisconsin. We use a variety of diagnostic methods, including special tests to study brain waves, nerves, memory and other brain functions. The goal of neuroscience is to help patients enjoy the highest possible level of function and quality of life.
