Through our Women & Families Center, we offer state-of-the-art care to pregnant women (and their families).
Caring for yourself during pregnancy is the key to giving your baby a healthy, happy start in life. The doctors, midwives and other medical professionals at Affinity Health System offer state-of-the-art obstetric care to women in Northeast Wisconsin.
Through our Affinity Medical Group clinics in Appleton, Oshkosh, Chilton, Neenah/Menasha, New London, and Ripon, we bring you a full range of obstetric care, from fertility treatment through post-partum care. Affinity designs our obstetric services from a woman’s perspective. We recognize that each woman is unique, and we treat every patient with personalized care. To serve active women and their families, we offer flexible, convenient scheduling at multiple locations.
BirthPlace
Affinity’s BirthPlace provides full-service pregnancy care, including high-risk pregnancies, for families in the Fox Cities and Oshkosh. BirthPlace promotes the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of mother and baby.
Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU)
Affinity Health System Neonatal Services provides state-of-the-art care for the tiniest of patients—premature, special needs and sick newborns. Affinity’s Neonatal Services team, located at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, includes neonatologists, specially-trained nurses, pharmacists and other health care professionals who help babies from throughout Northeast Wisconsin.

Pregnancy education and support
Affinity offers a wide assortment of childbirth, sibling and breastfeeding classes to expectant mothers in Northeast Wisconsin.
Classes, resource libraries and other educational opportunities are available through Affinity Health System to help expectant mothers ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery. The Affinity libraries at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton and Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh offer a large selection of books, magazines and videos on issues related to women and families.
New Life…New Beginnings is a book given at the first prenatal visit. Helpful information on childbirth, breastfeeding and newborn care is included.

Additional educational resources:
- Teen pregnancy program - This program provides educational support to pregnant teens and their families. Topics include nutrition, exercise, labor preparation, newborn care, breastfeeding and parenting. A tour of BirthPlace is included. Please call Lifespan at (920) 731-8467 for more information. $20 fee.
- Moms’ Club - New moms and their babies join together to discuss adjustments to motherhood and ask about baby care. A registered nurse is always present. Moms' Club is held every Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital and every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Mercy Medical Center. Free. No registration required.
- Pathway to Peace and Freedom to Grieve pregnancy and infant loss support group.
